So Much to Say!

Well, it’s been awhile since my last blog. Not that I’m a huge blogger, but hopefully some one out there is interested even just a little. 

Since we last spoke () I’ve had a couple of other shows, a Voting Party for the LA Music Awards and then of course the Awards show and did a radio interview!

So first off! Thanks to all those who voted for me! I WON!!! 🙂 Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year!!!  It’s the first time I’ve ever won anything like that! I’m posting picture now of the awards show and me with my sweet plaque!

Nov. 14th, I had the pleasure of singing at the 1st Southern Baptist of Lakewood church again and hang out with the Living for Christ Youth Group!  Always a great time and I love Pastor Jim! Such a heart for the Lord and those kids are just awesome! Keep them in your prayers!

Hunter and I, oh, for those of you who don’t know…Hunter is my amazing guitarist and we had our first gig together Nov 7th at the Talking Stick in Venice Beach! He is so good you guys, I can’t even tell you and I’m so blessed to have him play with me. We’re gonna head into the studio real soon!  (special thanks to his friends and mine that came out to see the show!)

Also, Nov 21st (today), Hunter and I performed again at the Concert for a Cause at the 1st Congregational Church of Buena Park and that was amazing! Not only did I have the pleasure of performing with Hunter again, but also with the Get Up Youth Group! Amazing kids and they were incredible! I’m so proud of them. I should hopefully have video soon so keep checking out the myspace page!  Also, my good friend, Rachel played some of her new songs from her new album, Fairytale!  You have to check her out too! She’s brilliant!

LA Music Awards Voting Party! October 16, 2008!

  Well the time has finally come! The 2008 LA Music Awards Voting Party at the Whiskey A Go-Go is next week! October 16th at 7pm!! All ages are welcome and my section will be within the first hour of the night!

I am nominated in two categories: PRODUCER’S CHOICE FOR INDEPENDENT CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN ARTIST OF THE YEAR AND FEMALE VOCALIST PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR!!!

The 18th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards are proud to announce the annual voting party will be held at the Whisky A Go-Go on Thursday, October 16th. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
8901 Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90069

All attendees will receive a ballot to vote for their favorite artists. With 100 nominees in 20 categories to choose from, the competition will be fierce. There will be five live performances representing the International Showcase Artist of the Year.

For those of you who have the LAMA Passes from the showcase, those are still good for 1 admittance.
Otherwise the tickets are $10 at the door!

I want to thank all of you so much for all your support and I REALLY appreciate your helping me get these awards!

 OMGoodness!!!You know, God has been so gracious.

I’ve been booking some really cool shows, getting on a small church tour (3 Points of Light) and I’ve started writing songs for my new album!

The coolest thing that’s happened so far is that I’ve been Nominated for BEST ARTIST in Contemporary Christian Category for the LA MUSIC AWARDS!!!

I’m also being considered for BEST ALBUM!!! How cool is that?

July 25th, I’m performing at LIFE (www. lifeonwilshire. com) and I have VIP passes that are good for all the events for the whole year for you and a guest, only for $12!!!! Let me know if you want the passes, plus I could really use the support and the votes, because at the showcase will be FAN VOTES!
